The main attraction within a walking distance of 3-5 minutes from the hotel is the Castell de la Santa Creu (Castle of the Holy Cross). A medieval fortress with spectacular views over the entire coast, and a medieval cemetery hewn in rock that is well worth visiting. Just next door is the old town, full of photogenic corners and small plazas that feel worlds away from the tourist strip.

For lovers of retro fun, the Calafell Slide (giant summer bobsled/toboggan run) is located about 10-15 minutes walking from the hotel. It is a classic attraction in the area which entertains both children and adults, allowing you to come down the mountain on a sled with user-controlled brakes. A unique piece of leisure history, yet fully operational.

Calafell Beach is around 1.5 km away from the hotel, so it's about a 15-20 minute walk. First, you cross the urban area and then reach the promenade to the beach, packed with restaurants, ice cream shops, and stores of all kinds. It's really pleasant to walk this way in the morning or late afternoon but can get quite tiresome coming back up under midday sun in summer! On a half-way point between hotel and sea stands Iberian Citadel of Calafell; unique archaeological site for reconstructions where visitors are allowed inside houses built 2,500 years ago.
